Make darn sure enough head space is left. If not the weight gets stuck, like glue, in the jar. Had to take a hammer to it to loosen. Grateful the canning jar didn't break! 🙂

Perfect for those extra mason jars around the house
About as easy to use as it comes in a simple design. It's a perfect size/weight and seems durable enough.I've been using them for about a year now making my own sauerkraut and vinegars.
