Brightest Red flashlight I've ever had.
Very bright and the best red flashlight I have ever had. Casts a bright and far reaching light. Shines across the street.

It's what inside that counts
Took a gamble and I bought it to wreck it apart to see what's inside anyway but became surprise to see that it has 12.6v board. I was able to throw 1300mW at quad IR led in a modified X300U pistol light blinding everything within 150yrds under PVS14...salvage the same lens and throw the beam even narrower pass 250yrds. While most control board is 4.2v it is almost impossible to find 12.6v board of this high quality (you could just feel it in the detail)...only shady cheaply made 20v board out there that'd short circuit and burst in flames, taking a month to ship from China and cost $20+ shipping a set...but for $16...I'm winning over here so I bought another one.

Works well with night vision
This IR flashlight works well with IR night vision electronics. There is no visible red light when looking at it with just your eyes, not even from the LED.

Unique rechargeable battery, buyer beware
Seems like an ok light so far, but be aware that this comes with a unique rechargeable battery, no instructions, and no charger. Luckily, I had a charger for another device that uses this type of battery, but you may not. The supplied battery had about 20 minutes of charged life right out of the box. Plan to have to buy a charger if you don't have one for these types of batteries.

Not very Bright
Not useful for illuminating anything passed 30 yards. I had the battery fully charged and even tried another 18650 battery. Did not make any difference.
