Almost universal
I had a 70 year old odd ball brand typewriter to repair. Although the spools were the same size, the way they mounted was not compatible with the various options provided. Was 50/50 when I ordered it so not a big deal. Took a few minutes but just wound the new ribbon onto the oddball spools and everything is perfect
