Made for grass. Not saying it want work for brushes and shrubs. But not what it was made for. Have heard some people say they used it for that and it was slower to dry and it didn't look like a good color until it dried.

Q: Does this come with a sprayer?

Yes, there is a pump sprayer that sits atop the bottle.

Q: Does this damage the soil underneath the grass and prevent future grass growth?

I did not saturate the area with the paint. I sprayed the area twince for top coverage and never had a problem with regrowth. I purchased the product to cover a patch of grass that was sunburned from cutting it too low and it did the job required. Once the new growth came in, it was naturally pretty green like the rest of my grass.
