Q: Where is this product grown, manufactured and packaged?

Thank you for your question. We are a US-based company and our products are currently made in China in an FDA-registered facility.

Q: Why does it say Microwaved & Popped on the box?

That's how they dry them. I saw that too, and until then, I had them in my cart. I haven't used a microwave since 2005 because microwaving actually changes the dna structure of food, and my digestion improved greatly once I switched to cooking on an induction burner, which turns out, is faster than a microwave anyway! We are eating our quail, and their eggs, so I won't feed them microwaved products since we will be eating them. Too bad, they don't just use an air fryer or something else. Time to raise our own bfl I guess.

Q: Are these Human grade?

That's an interesting question! The more brave among us at Supreme Grubs have a handful of grubs every now and then. However, while our grubs are natural with no preservatives or additives, we would not (yet) recommend them for human consumption. Birds and many other pets have been consuming grubs as part of their regular diet for the longest time, but since humans haven't, we need a bit more research on grubs before introducing them as a human grade treat or food.
