It appears to be user friendly
I haven’t used so I can’t honestly review this item. I’m guessing it will do what it says . I do like the fact that it came threaded where you can tie it off to change the color thread.

Saved My Pop Up Camper
After 15 years ,the stitching on our pop up camper was showing signs of age and dry rot and was starting to break and unravel. We could not find anyone to repair it for us . The camper dealer wanted over $2000 to replace the popup part of the camper. So, with nothing to lose, we thought that we would give the bag stitcher a try. I'm happy to say that it did a great job. Now mind you, its not perfect but it worked. It saved us a ton of money and a lot time and pain if we tried to hand stitch it. Even if I never use it again, it's already paid for itself.
