Here is my trick for the light bulb part.....
I have a chandelier in my hallway that has a drum shade with crystals (sort of like this one.) I made the STUPID mistake of not covering it when I was doing some drywall sanding in an adjacent room. I was so sad that all my sparkle was gone. I TRIED to clean the crystals one by one (inside and out) but the clips and such kept getting caught on my cloth and it just wasn't working.I dreaded the thought of taking hundreds of crystals off, cleaning them one by one, then trying to reattach them. I hate making extra work for myself if there is an easier way. So I figured I had nothing to lose by trying this. I didn't want to unwire or any of that crap, but feared spraying right onto an electrical device. It was switched off, but still. What I did was just cover the lights (like the little candles) with plastic shopping bags. Then I laid a few empty garbage bags underneath. That way they and my floor were protected from drips. It worked SUPER well. After it was dry, I just took the bags off. The bags were fine...you can use them again, plus no sheets or dropcloths to wash! (I told you I didn't like extra work!!! ha ha!!) Everything covered safe and untouched.I have another chandelier that is more ornate with lots of metal. On that one I used pieces of Glad Press'n Seal Wrap on all the places I didn't want saturated with cleaner. It still does get in some places, and I do spray liberally, but the plastic protects the metal. I don't think this cleaner would mess up the finish on the metal parts...I mean lots of metal got sprayed and it was fine, but I still think that protecting what I easily could was a good idea. I wasn't crazy and covered every single metal thing; just the big parts.I love that the cleaner helps sort of "sheet" the dirt off. You don't have to rub or get fingerprints (or wear gloves!) It is a rinsing/cleaner..just like washing your car or in your dishwasher.I did have to clean the one with joint compound dust all over it twice. But now it is sparkly and rainbow-y again!!! I LOVE any product that makes a tedious chore easy!

Quick and easy to use. Puts the sparkle back in your Chandelier!
Excellent product, easy to use and does what it promises. Bought this chandelier 18 months ago and this was its first cleaning. Because it's hung directly over the kitchen island and stove, the beautiful crystals had a greasy, dusty film and had lost their sparkle. I kept putting off its cleaning because of my OA - but Brilliante made cleaning it a cinch. For safety, I turned off the light from the wall switch (which they also recommend) and made sure the chandelier lightbulbs were tight in their sockets. I then put a thick Turkish bath towel over my stove's glass cooktop to protect the finish -- just in case. It says to spray and let drip dry, but I chose not to saturate it. Starting at the top, I lightly spritzed the crystals a few at a time, then gently wiped/buffed them dry with a clean microfiber cloth. I also lightly spritzed and gently wiped the crystal cup-like holders under each light taking care not to spray near the light sockets themselves or directly on the metal (even though it says it's safe on metal). I'm 71 and retired, I'm in no hurry. I took my time and worked methodically, from top to bottom, gently spritzing and wiping clean each crystal and the crystal bead "rope" swags. It was not difficult or even that tedious. Music does help! I listened to Bob Marley, which always puts me in a happy, mellow mood, and 50-60 minutes later...Hey mon, I had a very bright, clean and super-sparkly chandelier. So... "Don't worry...use Brilliante, and every little thing is gonna be all bright!"

Easy - Quick - WORKS!
I just finished cleaning my chandelier and I'm ordering another bottle of this stuff, just in case I can't find it next time I need it! It took just a quick hour for the whole job, start to finish, including removing the light bulbs, wrapping the "candles" tight in "Press&Seal" wrap, covering the table with a plastic table cloth and towels, spraying the chandelier and finally wiping and replacing the light bulbs. During that hour, I also removed the little crystal "cups" from the fixture, because I didn't want the spray to pool in there. I sprayed and wiped those separately with a microfiber cloth - easy! Actually, the spraying was the quickest part of the process. I only took away one star because the spray shoots out a stream, instead of a spray, which makes it difficult to aim and clean the strands of crystals. I ended up wearing a glove, holding the strands and spraying into the glove so the "missed" sprays wouldn't end up on the wall or the floor. It worked fine. It's best to get up on a small step ladder so you can spray downward. This also prevented the spray from trickling down my arm. Long story short, it worked like a dream! This chandelier needed cleaning in the worst way and it really shines and sparkles after just one treatment! Excellent product - highly recommend.

Somewhat better than other other products
So I’ve used two other solutions and this one has been better than the previous ones but still a hard challenge to clean. I fully sprayed it twice over the first hour and I didn’t see much change so I sprayed it a 3rd time and after a few hours I had to individually clean each a every crystal, it’s the only way they looked cleaned. The last picture is after I cleaned each and every crystal but I still have the half top to continue cleaning. Such a pain to clean.

Waste Of Money
Do not waste your money! I used this product on my chandelier and it did not clean the crystals. In fact, it left them murky looking and no shine to them at all! You are better off using Windex or Glass Plus. I returned this item because it doesn’t clean like it says it does.
