Hatchimals - CollEGGtibles 12-Pack Egg Carton Season 1, Ages 5 & Up

My 6-year-old daughter got her first Hatchimals this Christmas and loves them, so when she discovered these little guys she wanted them right away. We saw them at Michael's craft store where they were listed for $9 for 4 eggs. I looked on Amazon for a better price and discovered this dozen. Not only did it motivate her to do her chores to make money to get them, but they are also toys that she's still interested in after opening. She (and her 2-year-old sister) really loved warming up the hearts and breaking each one open. They checked off each hatchimal from the check list and even re-wrapped them in notebook paper after the fact so they could hatch them all over again.

I love the packaging idea with this product, my two-year-old son absolutely loves these and I use them as incentives for when he uses the toilet or if he has good behavior. The products are well-made, the packaging is great, the eggs are exactly as you see in the picture. My favorite thing about this product is I've ordered us a bunch of times and we have yet to receive the same item twice. My only cons would be for this product is that it is a bit small, see if you have a child under the age of two, there may be a choking hazard… But other than that I really love this as a great gift for my grandson.

My three year old loves these "little creatures." Yes they are tiny but that's part of what she likes about them. I guess I didn't pay enough attention before purchasing but was pleasantly surprised that the package they come in is a hard case that serves as their nest and is great for storage and portability. We got the nursery playset too shortly after geotnis twelve pack and loves it as well.

My five-year-old daughter loves these things. I think it’s mainly about the thrill of hatching them and not knowing which one she’ll get, though she does still play with them afterwards as well.The egg shells are hard to break. She can rarely do it by herself, though the material it’s made from wouldn’t hurt her if she did. You’re supposed to warm the purple heart on the egg until it turns pink, but doing that doesn’t seem to help the hatching process at all. We have to just smash them. The animals inside are cute, but there’s not a ton of variety within a “season.” We have a lot of duplicates, but my daughter doesn’t mind at all.

Such an great product for the price! I recently bought just one Hatchimal at Walmart for almost $3, but with this set you get a dozen for less than $18. The quality of the eggs were better than I expected, and I love how they also came in a plastic carton for you to store the hatchimals in. My daughter loved these and we will definitely be repurchasing again!

Super super cute. Tiny eggs that you rub, break open and there's a little figurine inside. My kids, ages 4 (girl), 6 (boy), and 8 (girl) all love them! And my son specifically wanted this egg carton. Unfortunately there's a lot of price hiking just for this carton, so be aware of those. I believe they are supposed to be right around $20. Who knows what the holidays will bring though.

I bought this as a present for my daughter for Christmas. She had so much fun opening them. She had problem getting one to open, but we poked a little hole and she got it open. She played with them all day. I'm so happy that this has a case/carton to hold all the animals. So much easier not to step on.
