My pond was SO murky with silt suspended in the waters. My skimmer begged to be cleaned every other day. I dreaded cleaning the pond, but feared for the health of the fish, so I pulled out the pond vacuum and practically killed it trying to suck up all the sludge on the bottom. I finally got the vacuum to work as a pump, draining 3/4 of the water out of the pond, then using the net to shovel out loads of muck. I cleaned both the skimmer and waterfall filters, which were FULL of muck. Refilled the pond with well water and added 2 Pond Shocks to the 5000 gallon pond. The two photos show the difference between when I added the treatment and two days later. Folks, Pond Shock is good stuff, but it's not a complete miracle worker. You have to invest in regular maintenance or do a mini overhaul like I did if you don't do regular maintenance. Now I have clear water with sludge patches on the bottom. I'll have another go with the vacuum at those spots......

I used the product with hope it would do as advertised. My pond was clear prior to using. It just had muck in the bottom that this was supposed to take care of. 10 days later, and my pond is worse and filled with algae. My filters never smell bad when I clean them except for now. They smelled like something died in them, and I clean them weekly. I won't be buying again. I guess they work for some. Gamble with it if you want.

I’ve read all the reviews and a lot of different opinions. I took a chance and purchased this product for my Pond was really and we could not see the fish unless they came to the surface. I placed this in the water as directed and within three days my water was very clear. I could see down to the bottom and it did not stress the fish out at all. I am very pleased with us and will be happy to use it again if needed in the future

This ball is amazing. Pond is getting clear in less than a week!! Love this stuff. I was using so much algaecide and it was doing nothing. My pond was so green I couldn't see my fish.

Hasn't worked like it says but it in 3 days ago , worked a little bit not worth the money

Holy slime ball!! This thing cleared my pond so fast! The water went from green and hazy to crystal clear in about 2-3 days! I set up subscribe and save for a one a month treatment. It is great!!

This product is easy to use and arrived in one piece. No damage. However, it did absolutely nothing for my 700 gallon stock tank pond.
