When the lights are cycling, there is a high pitched whine. Is this normal?

My daughter has this keyboard she is really happy with it she says there are no high pitch whines when she has the lights on so I think it could be a fault on yours

Can you set a single colour for this keyboard and will in stick if you boot into Linux?

Yes I believe you can stick to a single colour, however I can't speak for the Linux sorry.

Which type of key caps can i mod this with? does it take cherry mx profile, for instance or is it a profile unique to redragon?
