Absolutely great value for money. Smells great and have used some for pot pourri. They come simply wrapped in a plastic bag so I transferred the rest into an airtight jar ready for use in hot-toddy’s and cooking.

Very pleased with this. The flavour it’s very strong and nice, was really nice packed with other sample and voucher.

They arrived intact, not crushed like many do. They were missing some end points on the stars but that adds to the look. I gave them away as part of Christmas favours. Great product

If like me you eat a lot of rice and love the fragrant flavour that the star of anise gives it then it makes sense to buy them in bulk.In tesco I think you get 4-6 12g-209 in a jar for the same price you can buy 100g here.They are not perfect quality, some of the stars are less than perfect but for me I don't care I'm not using them toook good but thought it deserves a mention in case your looking to use them for their shape or aesthetic qualities.

I bought these for to photograph, rather than use in food, and unfortunately they were so crushed that there was only one left whole!

Love this Star Anise - arrives quickly, looks stunning, colours are beautiful and so fragrant. Perfect for use.

A good price for what was a significantly larger bag than I was expecting. Some are broken but the majority of mine arrived whole. I bought these for cooking and they are removed before the food is served anyway so I really don't care if they're broken.
