Q: Will this hold pint of Guinness in a pint glass?

This sturdy bit of will carry any standard pint glass. Note the tall skinny glasses, but normal, proper pints. Folds neatly into you back pocket and is strong enough to carry four beers. It's a festival must have big of kit

Q: Does it require 4 evenly weighted pints or will having 2-3 pints cause spillages I’m one handed so need it to be sturdy

You can configure it for 3 or for 4 pints so no issue there - 2 pints can be carried in opposite sides of the 4 glass configuration. Similar drink fills will obviously help to balance things out but it’s a pretty sturdy item, I thought it was so good that I’ve got them for my daughters and they love them.

Q: will this do for kids drinks on holiday ? or does it need to be pints x thanks

We’ve used it on holiday for kids and adult drinks, not just pint size cups.

Q: Will it take large China mugs ?

Hi, no I don't think so as the handle won't go in the hole. The hole is 2.95 inch diameter so you could measure the mug. Hope this helps.ThanksPaul
