Q: Im looking for light up drumstick size 5a can anyone recommend any?

To light a stick up you need clear plastic, which is heavier than wood. The other issue is the power pack also contributing factor to size and weight too.

The sticks do flex more than a regular stick, but for learners they are ok. They are great for a performance in the dark, adding extra fun for learners, as they glow with impact.

Q: Will it change to different color?

No they won't this model lights up Blue. We offer a range of colours - Red, Green, Blue, Orange, Purple, White, Pink and our Colour Changing model which changes colour every strike.

Q: Will i actually be able to play a few songs live with these sticks? Are they proper sticks or just play/pretend/joke sticks?

These are OK to play for a short amount of time, the sizing of them is a little strange (They feel slightly bigger than a 2B), they are too flexible and the balance isn't quite right. They're ok if you want you want to play a simple solo when you get to that bit in the set where the singer introduces the band... but I wouldn't recommend them for prolonged use. Also, because of the hard nature of the poly-carbonate that they're constructed from, the sound you get from cymbals is thinner and brighter than with a wooden stick
