Works. Muscular compression and support certainly, but Physios tape plan would probably help more!
UPDATE December 2018Without going out for a run this stayed on for about 4 days, it stayed on while my knee recovered, that included showers. It did feel ike it was helping almost immediately by giving extra support to ligaments and muscles around my knee.HOWEVER when going for a run I put it on following the patterning / placement suggested by a KT Tape video (I think - and not a misspelling - KT Tape) and around a mile in the tape was coming off and flapping around so I had to just take it off. The same thing happened on the next run. So the KB tape comes off as soon as I start to warm up and skin becomes damp underneath the tape. After that I got fed up with the 10 minutes rounding corners and applying the tape only to wind up putting it into a pocket or bin within 10 minutes of actually running.I hadnt been aware of my knees getting warm / damp before but they do... or they did with the tape worn. Gave up with KB Tape for wearing while running but might keep it for wearing when hobbling around the house for support when not exercising. I might try one of the other brands to help support the ongoing knee issue when exercising, something like Rock Tape I am told might be better and stay on supporting my dampening knees when out running.ORIGINAL POSTING EARLY OCTOBER 2018 (before running with it) ==========Arrived on time with contents as advertised. Seems like a decent length of tape available.Using it on a knee injury I picked up on a run when I did a full length faceplant after foot met root and face, elbows, knees all hit the dirt hard. The tape feels like its helping a lot already (in a totally unqualified knee owners opinion!) - I have tried to use some sense of "where it hurts" and a little knowledge of how the tendons and muscles etc wrap around the knee area. My running group leader has said that it would probably be better to go to a physio, have them examine it and apply the tape the first time and then continue by copying thier taping plan. Its stretchy so it can compress the muscular tissue where its applied, it stays on (3 days with showers and its still in place... apart from one bit that I took off after 2 days and which still took my leg hair with it).I think its working, my knee was taking a long time (a few weeks) to recover and minutes after putting the tape on I could feel a measurable difference in the "tweaking" pain I had been getting going up and down stairs. So thumbs up from me but it would probably work as a mending aid better if I was going from a physios tape plan...Knees+thigh injuries are complicated but I have seen other runners using similar tape and they all seem to think it works as an aid to help recovery after injury, supporting mending muscles while you get out and gently test the recovery - totally unqualified opinion there!

For Chest Taping (an FTM review)
Trans guy here!So i used this tape as an introduction to chest taping (chest binding). I have a medium/large chest and this has worked a dream!i understand that this isn't the 'intended' use of kinesiology tape, but its a great alternative to trans tape (much cheaper too). This brand hasn't irritated my skin (where other brands have) it doesn't stretch after application, sticks to my skin fairly well (though id advise having clean skin, and not touching the glue if you can) lasts several days, and bonus, doesn't cost an arm and a leg!i bought it in green (my favorite color) as a fun tester, and the comfort is so much better than a binder that i actually prefer using this stuff most times. be weary that the brighter colors will show through white shirts though. a mistake i almost made getting ready for a job interview.TLDR:application - pretty easy to apply, id recommend finding tutorials on applications on tiktok or youtubedurability - Lasts a good few days (usually 5) without much stretching. (be weary of peeling, especially if you sweat a lot)comfort - great, not much irritation and haven't had issues losing skin or hair to this stuff.removal - the worst part, but it isn't hard to remove. things are much less painful if you have baby oil and a good moisturizer for aftercare.

A good relief
I bought this tape in the hope of getting some relief with pain in my heel (and then affecting also my ankle, knee and hip), which I believe to be Plantar Fasciitis. I have had it for a couple of months and it has been making me feel wretched. I didn't expect very much, to be honest, but was willing to try anything. The tape comes with a leaflet but there were no instructions about taping for Plantar Fasciitis. But it is easy to find videos about it on the internet. I taped up my foot, following the instructions. I've never taped anything before. The tape is paper-backed and quickly ravels up and sticks to itself when you remove the paper, so you have to be careful about that. The result - after a day - has been absolutely amazing. The pain is very much reduced, my foot feels protected and supported, and my whole mood is better because I am not being dragged down by an aching foot. I am in my sixties, not very flexible or slim, and I did find it a bit awkward to reach to my own foot to tape it but I managed it. I realise it is early days but certainly for immediate relief I highly recommend this. After 24 hours the tape is still securely in place and still feels effective.

Okay
I wish this product had more effective adhesive, it works fine for overnight face taping, but it fell off after five minutes when I taped up my leg after a long walk.

Pointless and waste of money
Bought this tape as I've twisted my wrist and caused a bit of swollen. It is good that the tape delivered by amazon prime and arrived on time but it was a nightmare when i started using it. 1) the tape do not stick for long, i would say approx. 2-3 hours if you don't stick it on the joint area. I've stuck mine from wrist to elbow and the tape at the elbow section always comes off due to movement. So i've tried another experiment by applying the tape on my arm before i go to bed. Same thing happened when i woke. Another piece of advice from my therapist was to apply heat after i stuck it on as the glue will stay on longer? did not work at all. 2) allergic reaction. This is a rare scene for me as I've never experience allergic reaction before esp. my skin type is rough so I didn't expect this one coming. After i peeled it off, it notice there is small little red dots around the area where i've applied the tape. This is my personal opinion. I've read other reviews and said it worked well for them but unfortunately not for me. I've used the entire roll of tape before submit this review so... up to you whether you buy it or not.
