Portacapture X8 Fits perfectly
Having just bough a Tascam Portacapture X8 for making some field recordings, the sensible move was to make sure I had a reasonable case for it when it was being moved around. This one does the job without being too large or moving to a hard plastic case. Whilst it offers some protection, I'm not sure if it was dropped from a big height how much protection it would actually offer - particularly to the mics. There's just enough space inside to store the WS86 windscreen and a data/charging cable. Seems well built and does everything I need it to without being overly bulky.

Love this case. It protects my audio recorder pretty well. Nice to have peace of mind. 10/10

Excellent and gives great protection
Excellent and gives great protection this hard case. Good strong zip and a good piece of retaining elastci so your contents cannot move or rub against items placed in the netting pouch on the other side. Perfect fit for the Tascam Pro Capture 8 or earlier models.

Tough case but lacks pouch for spare SD cards
This is a great hard case, very strong, open up the case and there is an elasticated strap for your Tascam Portacapture, however, what it could have done with is a secure small pouch for the micro CD cards and the carrier, apart from that, a solid case

It is not a hard protective case!
It is flimsy, cheap rubbish which is stupidly expensive, and therefore not worth buying!

It’s okay but tascam C8 will not fit comfortably with microphones in a-b position ….

This is a well made caseHard shell with a good zipFits the Tascam X8 perfectly and has storage for cables too
