Great hold, clean finish, and my girlfriend loves it!
This stuff is legit. The hold is strong without making my hair look stiff or crunchy. It gives a nice matte finish—no grease or weird shine, just clean, textured control. The scent is subtle but fresh, which I love.Took a few tries to get the amount right (a little goes a long way), but once I dialed it in, it became my daily go-to. Easy to apply, easy to restyle during the day, and it doesn’t flake or build up.Bonus—my girlfriend totally digs the way it makes my hair look. That alone makes it worth keeping in the rotation.Highly recommend if you want something that looks natural but keeps everything locked in. I’ll be buying this again for sure.

Best pomade I've ever used, love the subtle sandalwood and pine scent.
This stuff is a game changer. I've tried every type of styling product and dozens of different pomades over the years. None of them have performed as well as this product. It's perfect for medium length wavy hair. It has a really subtle sort of manly scent, and spreads and applies easily and evenly. I wash my hair once a week and rinse it good daily. The build up of product between washings just makes it look better. It looks good after the gym and even looks good when I wake up with minimal effort. I'll never use anything else.

My go-to pomade.
I've bought this pomade time and time again, and it's the best one out there. It perfectly accentuates the waves in my hair and doesn't feel sticky or tacky. Throughout the day, it really melts into your hair so it gives off a "natural" look. I have thicker hair and it holds it very well, too. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a cleaner, ecologically-minded product.

A product I was not expecting
To state it very clearly, this is the absolute best hair styling product I’ve ever used. I am a more “casual” user of hair products and fashion/style has never been something that came to me easily. But it has always been important to me. This pomade is perfect for me, I love the texture and the scent is very natural and not overwhelming at all. Also, it is “forgiving” in a way that many men’s hairstyling products are not. Meaning, if you use too little or especially if you use too much, it is not obvious to people around you, no ridiculous sheen to your hair and I’ve always been able to work it into my hair so that it was a non-issue. Ive been excited to use this product since I first got it a few weeks ago and now Im styling my hair more days than not. If youre on the edge, try it.

Awesome concept; oily finish
Love the concept and I was hoping this would be amazing. But it leaves my freshly clean hair feeling oily, even with a very small application. My hair is thin — not old man thin, but blonde, Swedish ancestry thin. So maybe it’s better for thicker hair. I also read some reviews about potential quality control issues, so maybe I got a bad batch. I can see literal oil droplets on top when I first opened it, almost like it’s sweating. Is that normal? Not sure.

It's a good pomade
Hard to heat up and get it going in your hands, but maybe because it's 63 degrees Fahrenheit indoors. It's not easy to work into my hair, but again it's probably to the cooler temperature. I have thick, straight hair that sticks out if you cut it wrong. This pomade handles it pretty well. Once it's worked in, it holds the styling together. This stuff does not flatten the hair like regular pomade, or in other words, if your hair has "body" or fluff to it, this clay pomade will keep it that way. There is no gloss, which I like. And like most pomades, this Highland stuff also does a good job moistening dry hands. With delivery via Prime, well I ordered it April 11th, and got it April 18th. Not very prime. I could go to the drugstore and grab another brand of clay pomade in less than a day. This stuff is pricey, which I cannot figure out why it's so. All-natural ingredients means they don't need to formulate compounds to make pomade, so it should cost less, but it's not. While it's a good product, I don't think it's any better than the other brands costing much less.

This works for me.
I really like this product. It needs to be spread evenly in your hands before application. It has a light to medium hold. It is not sticky when your hair dries. You can add a bit more after it dries to add some light sheen. It has a nice subtle smell. This works great for me and I recommend.

Generally good, needs better batch control
I like the neat and plastic free packaging. The clay holds well, doesn't feel as floppy or gluey as a lot of products I have used. It feels very natural and has a good hold. On most recent one I got, it was very gritty instead of smoother like the first several that I have gotten. Generally good quality but a little hesitant to commit more buying if there's QA issues.
