PROS:INGREDIENTS - it has a lot of ingredients I want and doesn't have the chemicals I don't want. So definitely five stars there.TASTE - OK I KNOW we all would like something that tastes like dessert and I don't know of any protein bar who can trick me into believing it's actual cookie dough, but I like the taste and one of these bars and a glass of almond coconut milk and my sweet tooth is satisfied and I feel noble for eating one of these bars instead of ice cream or cake, smile emoji.NUTRITION - Really good for one bar. I am always low in potassium and few bars have very much at all, but I like the fact it has a good amount of iron, protein and a LOW amount of salt and no cholesterol.TEXTURE - I didn't find it dry, but then I did have almond coconut milk with it. For me, dryness NOT a problem.COST - I did get these while they were on sale, but even at regular price, I would get again. If you haven't noticed, everything is going up. Where I would spend 1.50 for a decent protein bar, hard to find that these days. I am glad I got to TRY these while on sale, because you never know.BOTTOMLINE: I don't know about the other flavors, as cookie dough is the only one I've had so far, but would definitely reorder.

I have gastroparesis and need protein snacks without whole or chunky nuts. This fits the bill: easily digestible, smooth texture, not overly sweet, 12 grams of protein and limited ingredients. Doesn’t spike my blood sugar and holds me over till dinner. Personally I love the PB&J and Doughnut flavors the best. PB&J has no jelly flavor, however, it has a slight peanut flavor and is lightly sweetened. The doughnut flavor is slightly nutty but does not even resemble the flavor of doughnuts! That said, this flavor is pleasingly nutty and lightly sweetened. Both have the same white “glaze” over the entire bar instead of chocolate, a welcome change. If I am sounding redundant, well, both bars are very similar in a great way! I tried the Fudgier Peanut Butter Tru-Bar and I found it a bit dry with a different nutty taste (not pleasant to me) than the PB&J bar. The chocolate coating was bland. If you’re looking for a bar with a real chocolate coating, this is not the bar for you, LOL!I find Tru-Bar a good value as they cost less per bar than other brands and are so convent to put in a jacket pocket, purse or backpack. Highly recommend!

Best protein bars I have tried in a very long time. Not the biggest bars but surely filling. They taste just like you're eating peanut butter and jelly on wheat bread! I will absolutely order again. These are a little cheaper than buying in the store.

The texture is soft and chewy — not chalky like many vegan bars — and the flavor actually does remind me of a light, sweet donut without being overly sugary.I love that it’s gluten-free, dairy-free, non-GMO, and has no sugar alcohols (which upset my stomach with other bars). Plus, with 12g of protein and 12g of fiber, it’s really satisfying for an on-the-go snack or a light breakfast.My only knock is the price — it’s definitely on the higher end compared to similar bars. Also, if you're expecting a full "dessert-like" experience, it’s still more of a healthy snack than an indulgent treat.Overall, though, it’s a great option for anyone looking for clean ingredients, good taste, and a solid protein boost without the junk!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love the taste combined with the healthy ingredients. I will continue buying these. The flavors are all good,. Just an update. Love the product but it was delivered by USPS. No notice it arrived. Instead of putting at the front door they placed it at my garage downstairs. It was 110 degrees that day and left in the direct sun. Luckily I spotted it as I was pulling out of the driveway.

Best protein bar in the market! Truly tastes like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. No after taste, no grittiness. This bar is smooth and toothsome! It can sustain you if you miss breakfast or can be used as a late night snack of you miss dinner.

Listen, I don’t normally wax poetic about protein bars (they usually taste like regret and drywall), but Whipped Lime Tru Bars?? These babies are straight-up dessert sorcery. It’s like a key lime pie went to a spa, got whipped into shape, and emerged with six-pack abs and a charming personality. My boyfriend has been my Protein supplier and buys these for me on the regular. I like to dap him up when I can.I don’t even like protein bars—most of them are just edible lies wrapped in foil. But these? These are soft, zesty, and somehow make me feel like I’m on a tropical vacation even when I’m just sweaty and wheezing on mile 3 of my run. They’re light, delightful, and the lime flavor is bright enough to slap me out of any bad mood.And don’t even get me started on the other flavors—Tru Bar hasn’t missed yet. I rotate these and Clif Bloks like an Olympic snack strategist. Basically, if I had to choose between a trust fund and a lifetime supply of these bars, I'd at least hesitate.10/10.
