This travel pillow is perfect for me!
I LOVE THIS PILLOW!!!I am female, 5'9", 55 y.o., and average build for my height. My neck curvature was accidentally straightened 44 years ago. A stay in traction in the hospital fixed the structural issues, but the musculature seems always ready to spasm severely.Truth be told, I was a little worried about ordering the regular size, as I measure (and we did it about 5 times) right at the edge of regular and large. But I did order regular. I also wondered how it would work sleeping on my back AND sleeping on my side. Well, the box explains how. The shown view is for lying on your back. To lie on your side, take the wedge-shaped part under your neck and flip it toward the top of the bed. This pillow arrived a few days before a 3 hour flight to visit relatives. I was very concerned about my neck and base of my skull hurting during this trip. I need not have been. First, this fit easily into my checked suitcase, but it would have been easy to carry on the plane as a freebie. Second, it worked wonderfully. I started out on my back, and it felt much like, but not exactly the same, as my full size regular Therapeutica. I did move it up and back until I found what was comfortable. I fell asleep. I did have to wake up to turn on my side, since the pillow has to be turned over, but this was not a problem. Some people, in their reviews, find the neck wedge to be too deep or shallow for them. I would have thought it wasn't right for me, but I kept moving it until it felt comfortable.I used to travel a lot for work, and hotel pillows never worked. I would remove all pillows and roll a towel to put under my neck, and still have to live with neck pain until I could get home to my chiropractor. Never again!!! I never have to worry about pillows that are not my own.

Decent pillow, great company
It’s a decent pillow that allows me to sleep on my back without my head moving to the side. It can take a little getting used to it since it has a built in neck support which can make it sore if you don’t take it slow at first (alternate between your current pillow for a while). I also like it when I want to sleep on my side as it has the perfect height between my head and shoulder/bed.I also bought the full size (non travel) pillow from their website, and the company sent me a new pillow when I told them I need a thicker size. It was delivered free of charge like 3 days later, so I have a lot of respect for their company.

Not at all like I was expecting
I thought this pillow would be a smaller version of their regular sized pillow however this travel pillow did not at all feel the same. It didn’t cradle my head the same way and the part that supports the back of the neck was very uncomfortable. I returned it.

Home Comfort while traveling
This pillow is recommended by our chiropractor We have the HOME version and wanted to have the same comfort when AWAY!!! The pillow arrived on time and will do the trick. The awful smell that I read about in another review was true. We are very careful of toxins etc so it is alarming. Immediately washed the outside cover and left the pillow to air out. I am hopeful that it will dissipate. The 4 rating is due to the smell.

Side sleeper... I have the non travel pillow at home which is terrific
I purchased the average size travel pillow as it was the largest available here. At home, I use the large size therapeutica at on my king size bed but it has proven too wide for my RV queen size bed. The travel size pillow is a smidge too short for the space between my neck and the shoulder so I have folded a bath towel and put it in the pillow case (with the pillow flat side up as I rarely sleep on my back). I have to move the pillow from side to side when I change sides but a small cost for the benefit to my sleep. I wish they made the pillow an inch wider. Over all good purchase

Not really worth the extra cost...
I see a chiropractor and have massages regularly. I bought this to sleep on for neck decompression and I only lie on it, but don’t sleep on it. It’s comfortable and seems to stretch out neck muscles after about 10-15 minutes. I have another pillow-the Omni blue one-also from Amazon ($40) that does the same thing. So, I would not buy this one ($75) again, because it cost more and it does no more than the Omni and I really can’t sleep on it as I intended to do.

Perfect Travel Pillow
At home I use the full sized Therapeutica pillow. That thing needs a suitcase just for itself, if I were to take it anywhere. This travel sized pillow is the perfect answer. Because it is small, you have to turn it over if you want to switch between laying on your back or your side. Over time I have trained myself to do this in my sleep!! Also, I put a really bright colored pillow case over it for travelling so when I glance at the hotel bed I obviously recognize my pillow and remember to pack it when I check out. I travel with this pillow all the time (and I travel a lot.) With my neck pains finding an appropriate pillow is really difficult. This one is still large for a travel size but worth every square inch in the suitcase.

Love my travel pillow
Small enough to fit in suitcase. Exact replica of my normal-sized pillow insofar as firmness and success in preventing neck pain. I slept amazingly well during our recent three weeks of travel. Liked the new covering of the pillow, a better, more durable quality. Highly recommend.
