The design allows you to choose how and where you want to place the phone holder. As for additional weight, its not much, Very light weight to some. Wish I could add the phole holder to my Harley.

Worked very good. It was a little tricky to install, but I think that was because of the bike I was putting it on. Phone was very secure and never had an issue. I was able to perfectly adjust to how I wanted it. Very good phone holder, I recommend for a price.

It works really well! Fits my 1997 Suzuki srad incase anyone has a older bike the phone holder is really secure and I even struggled to take it out so I know it won’t fall out very easily only thing I didn’t like such as all the other reviews said was no instructions on how to put it together but besides that it’s pretty good
