This stuff is great.
I make eggless salad with tofu and finish it off with this black salt. It looks and tastes so close to real egg salad that people are often fooled. If you want to add the taste of eggs without using eggs just use a little of this. There is enough in the bag to last a while.

Not a great choice for homemade puffed rice
I bought this salt to make homemade puffed rice. But the salt was too light and so I couldn't really see the puffed up rice before it overcooked/got brown..This salt is great for cooking with, but for specific uses like puffing rice, where the visual contrast between the salt and the food is crucial, it might not be the best fit due to its lighter color. Despite this, its health benefits and flavor enhancement capabilities make it a worthy addition to the kitchen for other culinary experiments.

Perfect for vegan recipes!!
I use this for vegan 'egg' recipes. I cook and bake A LOT and love this black salt!! If you're trying to decide on whether or not to purchase this, I highly recommend this company's black salt. Perfect for my recipes. This was my second purchase from them!

I never knew about black salt but I did a Tabitha Brown "untuna salad" with carrot shavings after juicing. The egg and salt flavor is amazing but oowee the sulfur smell...and you only have to use a tiny tiny pinch and it goes a long way.Also this stuff is saltier than salt lol that's the only way I can explain it but again it has an amazing egg and salt taste
