Sourdough Bread with a Crispier Crust
This product works magic in sourdough bread. I was using sugar as a substitute. Glad I made the switch to this product. Crust crisps up, and the color of the bread is so much better.

I don't make a lot of yeast breads, but I can tell you this stuff is magic. Sorry, can't compare to other brands as I've not used diastatic malt powder before, but this product came exactly as described, in perfect condition, looks pure, and is cost effective. This powder gave wings to my dinner rolls in ways I've never seen before; also gave the rolls body and a solid feel without being heavy. I cook and bake a great deal, but don't often do yeast breads due to lack of confidence; this stuff is a game changer. I used a recipe for a copycat Rhodes dinner roll, and everyone raved about how delicious were the rolls. I'll be making more breads with this "secret" ingredient. It works. I don't need to try other brands. Happy.

Diastolic Malt Powder:Very well packaged product and shipped well packaged. Added 1/2 tbsp. to my bread recipe and it added flavor and elevated the recipe which was already a good recipe!

Great product and worked well for a variety of things. I tried making cookies for it and it turned out very spongy and had a weird aftertaste.

I'm just going to go ahead and get this out here...BUY. NOW.This is our first SECOND time buying THIS Diastatic Malt Powder and we did so because everyone else was extremely happy and after our first experience - we were too! We were in a major flood in February 2025 and lost this and everything else we owned, so getting back to normal is the goal - and this is part of that journey. This stuff makes your homemade pizza night a literal party for your taste buds! Like never before! I won't give out all of our ingredients, but I used 240g all-purpose flour, 1/8 tsp pizza yeast, 2 tbsp sugar, 1/8 tsp salt, 1.2g citric acid and THIS DIASTATIC MALT BY MEASURE OF 1.52G....AND...BAM, pizza palace!With THIS STUFF alone, added to your pizza crust, your homemade pizza night will NEVER be the same! And DO NOT forget the Citric Acid - it matters too!I could have easily eaten a whole pizza to myself, whereas I normally wouldn't consider it.
