Genuine OEM replacement
Works exactly as you would expect. It's a genuine factory replacement OEM Canon battery. While I'm reasonably sure that third-party batteries are adequate I sometimes feel funny trusting my multi-thousand dollar setup to cheaper batteries. I opted for the OEM battery and it works great; battery life is good and recharge time is pretty decent. I do think it's a bit expensive, but what photography gear isn't? I'm using it in an R6 mk2.

Canon batteries are expensive, but worth it because they are so reliable and long lasting. It is so good to know on a shoot that everything is going to work!

Perfect for an extra battery
Wanted an extra battery for my EOS R5 MK II. Went with the Canon original and couldn't be more pleased.Highly recommend!

The real thing
This is the real thing and works better than aftermarket ones. My original ones had been in use for six years and got to the point where I charged them at the end of each day of shooting and carried a spare. With this new one, I took over 600 pictures on a recent trip over the course of ten days and most likely would have gotten by without a charge. I no longer needed to carry a spare, and of course charging every few days was still an option to make sure that I had plenty of power.They are a lot more expensive than aftermarket brands, and if you don't mind carrying multiple batteries and swapping, as long as a cheap battery gets you through most of the day, it might be good enough for your purposes. But if you want top quality and no regrets, go with this one.

Hard to get in September LP-E6P battery
Amazon breaks through and made possible to get this new Canon Battery LP-E6 battery quickly.This is the new extra power battery that just came out for new Camera R5 mk II. I got it for that camera model, but it also works in the old model R5 and shoot sessions last longer. Have not tried on any other older model Canon cameras. Very happy with this battery and the battery chargers from the EOS R5 work well (is same charger) LC-E6.

Worth every penny
I love having a real Canon back-up battery. As soon as one runs low, I swap them out and start charging the dead one. The ability to never run out of battery power is invaluable during long photo shoots. The charge speed is fast and having peace of mind is invaluable.
