Easy to install and play. Good sound and compact.

After an evening drinking cognac I came across the Roxel Amazon site. Literally beguiled by their marketing strategy, listening to cool music demonstrating their products I pressed buy happily. Next morning I tried cancelling. To no avail, the stereo came next morning.Having just upgraded my hifi, I really have no need of this, but ai just cannot send it back. I love it too much.Though no heavyweight system, it does the job and looks as good as it sounds. The price is very good under £82.I have listened to my phone and audio files via the BT feature and it is so convenient and sounds good enough for my small apartment.The phono is beautiful, does not feature the cheap BSR style turntable most players sport and is a talking point - as well as beautifully designed and pitched. No 78s? Never mind, perhaps that is tech really best left in the 20th century anyway. And I can get Churchill's 16rpm on speeches on CD should I ever get to that stage in my life - a long way off I hope.The system promises to record LPs and 45s onto USB, which is something I have not tried. But I do look forward to exploring the USB feature.There does not seem to be info on replacement stilii and the lack of tweeters on the speakers is a downside.Though I do not need this - my Technics amp, CD and Tuner really are sufficient and obviously better quality (though only slightly) - I really do want it.A wonderful job from Roxel. I will be exploring many more of their very reasonably priced items. I'll just do so when clear headed in future.
