The stabler doesn't stay locked keeps sliding down

Returned as Defective... One of the leveler brakes failed to engage, rendering the ladder useless. The ladder would simply tip to one side as the leveler leg collapsed under the slightest load.Beyond that obvious defect, the steel levelers weighed as much as the aluminum ladder they were attached to. What used to be a light, easy-to-reposition ladder became heavy, clunky, and difficult to use.I will look for another leveling solution.

No instructions?
I didn’t even get an opportunity to turn it into a death trap. Mine came with about 1000 bolts and zero instructions. There is a video online for a very different product from the same manufacturer. I can’t find instructions online anywhere, and I would really like to turn this into the death trap that it seems to be according to other reviews

It is a death trap
A slight contact with the adjustment mechanism will drop the leg extension and topple the ladder! It is unbelievable that this product could be brought to market and sold via Amazon. The ratchet locking mechanism is locked into place by placing weight on the ladder as when you climb on the ladder. However, if someone or something hits the ratchet mechanism, even with weight on the ladder, the leg collapses! It is an extremely dangerous product.
