Hi, not suitable for an older person and in any case this is just an additional Handset & Charger, not a complete system. Best to look at the BT4600 Big Button. Ringers are set at a max of 96 decibels, the audio is not measured by decibels but that model has an amplify button. Regards,

Hi, this is an Additional Handset & Charger and requires registration to an existing Elements 1K or other DECT GAP compatible base. If the Conference phone has DECT capability you can register this to it, but you will have only the ability to make & take of calls, no other functions will work. Regards,
