Honestly the quality was different from the other generation lps, but I was so pleased with how they all came. I love how smooth the paint is and how cute the bath tub and Other pieces are. definitely one of my favorite lps sets and I Recommend for people that collect lps or want good quality for good price.

Love this so much! Absolutely adore the dogs and cat. I hear people complain about the paint jobs but other than a minor problem with the brown dogs eye, (which was fixed with clear nail polish) everything is so cute.

So cute I love them so much I was so happy when I heard they were back in stock that I had to snag it really fast!!!! I’ve always wanted this set since it came out so now I’m happy that I finally have it:)

I’ve been a fan and collector of LPS for over a decade so when I heard of their comeback I was thrilled! I already have quite a big collection of this new generation, so when I saw this set come up for pre order I snagged it immediately. I, along with many other collectors, were very excited to get the “main fives” back. I’m happy to see Basic Fun going in this direction, but I do hope they try to up the quality and quality control with their next releases. These look and feel like fakes which doesn’t bother me much but it’s a critique i’ve seen from other collectors. They’re cute, but they do feel very cheap. Here’s a comparison of the new shorthair compared to the original it’s based on. Obviously quality is going to change a lot since 2005 which is completely expected, but I thought these comparisons were interesting nonetheless. Overall, i’m happy with my set but i saw a lot of collectors dealing with serious quality control issues. Hoping these issues will be resolved by the next releases! Also i’d be very happy to see collector cards for all of the pets in a set :)

I love every pet in this set and the accessories, it is so classic and nostalgic as a LPS collector! The heads and some accessories are more rubbery than the hard plastic than us LPS collectors are familiar with but I think the quality and feel is great still and they are well painted too. I really like that the packaging is easy to open and you can save it to display them in even after taking everything out! The paper twist ties are great too, there’s less plastic waste and they don’t leave marks on anything. I really hope LPS keeps making more of these sets where you know what you’re getting and can keep the packaging to display them in instead of the surprise packs and blind bags where the packaging just gets thrown in the trash and you may end up with multiples of the same.

Bought these as a gift

I absolutely love this set!! I was so excited to get this set since it has both a shorthair cat and a dachshund pet. Unfortunately the printing on both my shorthair cat and dachshund arent the best, but it could be way worse. (Tiny bit of pink on the gray of the ear, and the airbrushing on the dachshund is a tiny bit sloppy) Overall Im still very happy with these pets, and since I know not everyone who is buying this is a collector, the printing shouldnt be a deterrent! (Im just very picky) This set is absolutely adorable, and Im so happy they brought back the bathtub accessory! Unfortunately I wont be able to provide a full review as a collector I keep most of my pets in box, but this is definetly a MUST have set!
